What You'll Do:
Â
- Maintain compliance with Corporate Structural Integrity Guidance Documents
- Ability to perform analysis and design as per Canadian and American Codes & Standards
- Ensure new structural designs and installations meet codes & standards, Nutrien Specifications, applicable laws and regulations
- Responsible for maintenance of the Asset Integrity Management system documentation and Asset database
- Plan, Schedule or conduct asset inspections, review and report findings
- Design engineered repairs in a brownfield environment
- Provide field support to Maintenance, Operations and Capital Projects
- Provide oversight and support Capital Projects as Nutrien stakeholder and civil/structural SPOC
- Write technical scope of works and create work packages
What You'll Bring:
Â
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation
- 7+ years of experience in engineering, preferably at a potash site or in an industrial setting
- Strong safety commitment and safety leadership
- Ability to effectively communicate, written and oral, with a variety of stakeholders - internal and external
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to work in a team environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office software, Computer Aided Structural Analysis & Design software’s such as Staad Pro or SAP2000 (or similar software) is required
- Experience with 3D Modeling and Design Software’s is considered an asset
