  • Lead the Nutrien Safety Connect as an enterprise SHE&S communication and engagement channel, including content, cadence, supporting materials, and continuous improvement
  • Coordinate periodic updates to Nutrien’s operational safety leadership development approach (e.g., coaching program, SHE&S Summit) with key stakeholders
  • Oversee the global approach to learning from serious SHE&S incidents, leveraging SHE&S Business Partnership teams to drive consistent application and follow-through
  • Design and implement a periodic safety culture evaluation methodology using practical leading practices, integrating with Human Resources where appropriate
  • Develop and deliver data-informed safety culture improvement strategies with stakeholders to drive adoption and measurable impact

What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years’ experience in safety and health roles within complex, multi-site, heavy industrial operations
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams across multiple time zones
  • Demonstrated experience designing, deploying, and sustaining large-scale safety and health programs in heavy industrial environments (eg, mining, manufacturing, chemicals, construction)

  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and translate strategy into executable plans
  • Demonstrated skills to build trusted and collaborative relationships, grounded in credibility and practical understanding of operational realities
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methods, human-centered design principles, and adult learning/engagement practices relevant to material risk reduction
