Site Services/Security (Casual) - (New Brunswick, Canada)
This position will be reporting to the Site Services Supervisor at our New Brunswick Division.
This position is located in New Brunswick, Canada and is not available for remote work. This is a part time role that is required for approximately 8 hours/week.
What you will do:
- Monitor and control site security systems, including access swipe cards
- Ensure all site visitors, service providers, and delivery trucks have signed in and out
- Coordinate site access for all potash and salt trucks
- Receive incoming calls to site, including site emergency numbers
- Fill emergency response duties, including performing first aid duties, and maintain the first aid station
- Perform security inspections of lunch boxes, bags, and vehicles as requested
- Work with the commissionaires to conduct security rounds at all sites, including Cassidy Lake
- Monitor Delta-V and site processes such as the fire panel
- Investigate Delta-V and fire panel alarms in the field and decide whether to call in support
- Be able to isolate any leaks that occur
- Support Security at Cassidy Lake to assess alarms
- Conduct site checks and inspections on nights, weekends, and holidays
- Collect site water samples for both Cassidy and Picadilly as required
- Assist with grounds maintenance including snow removal and mowing at the Picadilly, Penobsquis and Cassidy Lake sites
- Restart heaters in the event of a Natural Gas plant shut down
- Provide support to the operations and loadout areas
- Provide shift coverage for Site Services employees during vacations
- Shift work may be required including nights and weekends.

What you will bring:
- Grade 12 Diploma or GED
- First Aid training / CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Commitment to safety
- Communication and interpersonal skills in order to interact with all site personnel and the public
- Computer skills and ability to use required software such as Delta-V and card access systems
- Previous Mill experience is considered an asset
