What You'll Do:
Â
- Working with the Mine Training Coordinator, develop, design, and deliver training programs
- Evaluate departmental training programs, gathering data pertaining to training material and offering recommendations
- Coordinate training with departments
- Monitor employee performance and training results
- Maintain appropriate training records for all employees
What You'll Bring:
Â
- Superior interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
- Experience in the operation of mobile equipment
- Ability to present existing and new training materials to employees in both a classroom and on-the-job setting
- Computer skills are required, including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to demonstrate positive safety behaviours and safety leadership through working safely and effectively in a team setting as well as independently
- Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, with a technical or operating background
- Knowledge of underground mine operations and maintenance techniques
- Knowledge of OH&S regulations as well as mine regulations
- Previous experience in a supervisory role would be considered as asset
- Experience using LMS would be considered an asset
