Mine Construction Supervisor - Vanscoy, Saskatchewan, Canada

Location: Vanscoy, Saskatchewan, Canada

Reports to: General Foreman, Mine Construction and Projects

Position Availability: On-site only (remote work not available)

Role Overview: As an Underground Construction Supervisor at Nutrien Vanscoy Potash, you will lead by example, fostering a culture of care and teamwork inspired by the 'One Nutrien' philosophy. You will drive productivity and safety through our core values, ensuring operational excellence while contributing positively to our community.

What You Will Do:

• Embrace and promote 'One Nutrien' by working collaboratively across teams and departments, focusing on unified success.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety and building a strong safety mindset with your crew and others while always maintaining integrity
• Establish and communicate a clear vision, along with specific goals and targets, to ensure the achievement of safe and efficient daily shifts.
• Lead and support investigations into underground safety incidents and production losses.
• Being a leader of safety and Integrity at our site
• Cultivating a Culture of Care by leading, collaborating challenging and trust
• Fostering a diverse and inclusive culture to support our long-term success
• Collaborating and supporting production schedule to efficiently meet daily targets
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to continuously improving safety, operations and processes, fostering a proactive approach to identifying and implementing enhancements.
• Lead change management processes in a collaborative manner, ensuring stakeholders are engaged and informed throughout the transition to new policies, procedures or technologies.

What You Will Bring:

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent education
• A minimum of 3 years of underground experience
• Demonstrated passion for safety with a proactive approach to identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks in the workplace effectively
• Underground controlled blasting experience is an asset
• Experience in underground construction and ground control in Potash
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
• Effective communication and conflict resolution capabilities.
• Competency in adapting to new technologies, including digital tools for process efficiency.
