What You'll Do:
- Seed Accounting & Administration – Manage seed invoicing, receiving, and prepay reconciliation; provide administrative support to the seed sales team; review payables, supplier reporting, rebate allocations, seed margins, and inventory; generate reports for management and branches
- Month/Year-End Journal Entries – Process accruals and allocations for programs; allocate supplier rebates and prepay true-ups; ensure reimbursements are posted in the correct fiscal year
- Retail & Wholesale Customer Support – Guide retail locations and wholesale through procedures, correct coding issues, and respond to operational questions
- Sales Agent Commission Agreements – Track agreements by division and location; ensure legal alignment; send reminders for timely payments; run and update commission reports
- Competitive Allowance Management – Maintain and update accrual rates for dealers; review accounts, update payment rates, and ensure correct coding before processing allowances.
- Soybean Dumps & Replants – Monitor supplier reports to collect outstanding dump and replant dollars; liaise directly with vendors and locations to secure reimbursements, with close tracking of key suppliers
- GPOS Reporting & License Compliance – Collect and verify grower sales and license data for suppliers; coordinate with dealers to meet reporting deadlines; distribute invalid license reports and assist locations with grower registration
- Reporting & Collaboration – Work with corporate team on SPDR, Supplier Program, and Seed Financing reports; review misc. code reports to correct branch-level coding; ensure supplier payments are collected and reported accurately
- Prepay, Compliance & Miscellaneous Duties – Administer prepay processes for Cornbelt; review seed margins, supplier rebate rates, vendor contracts, and marketing programs; maintain seed agreements; allocate settlements; assist with compliance audits and divisional program tracking
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in agriculture, specifically seed market
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Excellent computer skills in Window, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Organized with a high attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
