What you will do:

• Operate pit and lift pumps to pump ore to the Washer
• Understand information available from telemetry system
• Assist other Utility operators with information about pumping systems
• Assist others in the Mining Department when job is down due to full bins, pit moves, etc.
• Monitor and service pumps as needed
• Monitor and regulate water control to meet mine needs and comply with discharge requirements
• Transport employees as needed
• Deliver operating supplies to field points as needed
• Monitor waste disposal systems
• Start/stop pumps as needed (barge and water jacks)
• Maintain housekeeping requirements around pit cars, pit pump’s, hydraulic stations, spillways, and all lift pumps (matrix, tails, and mudball)

What you will bring:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
• Valid Driver's license to operate company vehicles
• One year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
• Applicants must complete The Florida Ready to Work assessment to be considered eligible for employment with Nutrien
  • The assessment is offered for no cost at any Careersource office
