This position will be posted from September 16, 2024 - September 30, 2024.

What you will do:

 

  • Packaging: 
    • Proficient in all equipment, machines, and processes on Packaging lines; ensures equipment and machinery are operating properly and at production standards 
    • Ability to communicate with maintenance/production lead when equipment is not preforming
    • Willingness to rotate or cross train, into other positions in the facility
    • Demonstrate a strong teamwork attitude, with the expectation that training is a group effort
    • Understands Production Goals and expectations on proper scanning/comments (OEE)
    • Operate a forklift (upon completion of training and certification), or electric lift as needed  
    • Follow directions from production lead, including but not limited too additional tasks assigned
    • Understands and completes Operator PM’s (preventative maintenance) 
    • Proficient in machine set-up/change overs and start-ups 
    • Limit waste - of raw material, finished goods, rework, parts, chemicals, supplies, and downtime 
    • Demonstrate a sense of urgency when production lines are not producing, while ensuring Safety and Quality are not jeopardized.
    • Complete shop order paperwork and accurately account for inventory used 

 

  • Safety Responsibilities: 
    • Ensure the proper use of machines and equipment to prevent accidents and damage 
    • Understand and follow all Safety Policies and Procedures 
    • Always wear the proper PPE for the task at hand following posted PPE requirements 
    • All Material are Labeled and are placed in their right locations 
    • Maintain a clean and safe work area  
    • Participate in plant safety program
       
  • Quality Responsibilities:
    • Complete Quality checks at designated times
    •  Monitor quality throughout the process; communicates with QA when needed 
    • Ensure DPR (Defective Product/Raw Material Report) are complete and accurate 
    • Ensure correct coding of Bottles and Boxes; ensures boxes are square, free of defects, and taped correctly and have the correct quantity of bottles 
    • Ensure bottles are free of spills, and are filled to the correct weight and level 
    • Ensure Labeler, Capper, Sealer, and Quality checking machines are set up correctly and running as per requirements
       

What you will bring:

 

  • High school diploma required; experience may be considered in lieu of education
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience required, preferably 1 or more years of forklift experience
  • Ability to work in a Safety-First manufacturing facility required 
  • Ability to work in a sustained fast-paced manufacturing environment 
  • Physically and medically capable of wearing a respirator 
  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs frequently during shift 
  • Able to climb stairs and ladders 
  • Ability to stoop and bend frequently 
  • Good manual dexterity, vision, & hearing   
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time 
  • Capable of working in varying temperatures 

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Range $16.00/hr - $24.50/hr. This range is estimated for a Plant Operator in the State of Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
