Procurement Coordinator

This position will be posted from September 17, 2024 - October 1, 2024.

What you will do:
 

• Review purchase requests from internal locations to ensure necessary criteria is met, such as: the product meets procurement direction, price is confirmed, minimum order quantity is met, etc.
• Process orders with suppliers and confirm Purchase Order with requesting location.
• Assist locations with product or Purchase Order questions.
• Monitor on-site raw materials inventory and consumption, to ensure engagement with suppliers is relevant and up to date when requesting or changing deliveries.
• Utilize the LPI/Actagro Proprietary Manufacturing Procurement strategies in place (RFP awards, negotiated supply agreements) during the PO creation process.
• Daily monitoring of SAP MRP watching for imbalances of supply and production requirements.
• Optimize purchasing within area of responsibility for cost, delivery, and quality.
• Coordinate the return of products to vendors.
• Partner with Accounts Payable to identify pricing discrepancies and make necessary corrections.
• Submit requests to create new SKUs and changes to SKUs and changes also providing the necessary back-up information needed to do so.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

What you will bring:
 

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business Administration or Accounting; experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 1+ years of experience in a related role preferred.

Salary Range $55,440 - $83,160/annually. This range is estimated for a Procurement Coordinator in the State of Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
